We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to manage and support enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and data modeling. This role requires hands on expertise in managing large scale database systems, optimizing SQL performance, and collaborating with development teams to support application enhancements.

Responsibilities:
Manage and administer Oracle databases in production and non production environments.
Design, develop, and maintain database solutions that support enterprise applications.
Perform advanced database administration tasks including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with application development teams and stakeholders to implement new database solutions and enhancements.
Ensure data integrity, availability, and security across all database environments.
Support production, development, and testing environments, including on call troubleshooting when required.
Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts to support database administration activities.
Participate in Agile development practices including backlog grooming and user story discussions.
Lead initiatives related to database optimization and performance improvements.
Required Skills:
12 or more years of experience implementing, administering, managing, and monitoring databases in enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in Oracle Database administration including Oracle 11g and Oracle 19c.
Advanced experience with Oracle SQL and PL SQL development and tuning.
Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning and query optimization using Explain Plan.
Experience with Oracle internal views, functions, architecture, tablespace management, and index analysis.
Hands on experience with Oracle databases on Solaris or Linux systems.
Proficiency with Oracle SQL Developer.
Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, including star schema design.
Experience working in Agile based development environments.
