Quality Technician Responsible for creating, maintaining, and submitting AS9102First Article reports to customers. Creating 8130 tags as the FAA DMIR and/orCertified Repairman. Responsible forassuring all customer and company quality expectations are being satisfied atall manufacturing and inspection process steps. Identify and implementcontinuous quality improvement activities. Provides directions to qualityinspectors. Helps with containments ofproduct and root cause investigations. Escalates problems to management and make recommendations for solutions.

Job Summary - Creating, maintaining, and submitting AS9102 First Article and Delta First Article reports to customers via Inspect Net.
- Creating, maintaining, and supporting External Source Inspectors and their documentation packets.
- Visually inspects products using a scope or other tools to IPC-A-610 and customer specifications.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Creating, maintaining Certificate of Conformance for assemblies, parts.
- Complete Source Inspection activities where Ducommun has that approval.
- Lead assembly product containments, including production holds, product failure in DCO inspection system, root cause and investigations.
- Supporting Manufacture Engineering efforts, such as Product Binder Approvals, Traceability data requirements, and customer documentation reviews.
- Maintaining / Reviewing Quality Records (Test Records, DHRS, SMRS, etc.)
- Auditing production floor for continuous quality improvements.
- Assists team members with CAPA responses.
Required Education and Experience - High School Diploma.
- 3+ years of experience in quality technician role Intermediate level computer proficiency, including proficient with Microsoft Office - Outlook and Excel.
- Intermediate Knowledge of Circuit Board Manufacturing Processes, Procedures and Standards
- Read electronic and dimensional data to the closest tolerance, exercising a thorough knowledge of and ability to use such a wide variety of precision instruments.
- Good written and verbal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels inside and outside of Ducommun.
- Good organization and documentation skills; attention to detail is critical.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate with customers and project company image to attract business.

- Consistently completes assignments or work requirements on time without compromising on quality.
Preferred Skills and Experience - Intermediate Knowledge in the following industry standards including: J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, AS9102. QMS Standards AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, NADCAP AS7120 and ESD S20.20Certified to IPC-A-600 is a plus.
- Basic Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station Manual and 14 CFR Part 21 Parts Manufacturer Approval
- Intermediate Knowledge of DCO Software such as Agile, PERFORMANCE, Compliant Pro, Customer web portals, Net Inspect
