Summary

University Health is seeking an Epic Application System Analyst - Ambulatory to serve as the primary support contact for Epic Ambulatory applications. This role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting Epic workflows that meet clinical and operational needs. The analyst will work closely with Epic representatives, internal stakeholders, and end users to ensure successful system performance, project delivery, and user satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

Serve as the primary Epic application support contact for Ambulatory end users

Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Ambulatory workflows and functionality

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, including those impacting other Epic teams

Act as a liaison between end users and Epic staff to translate workflow needs into technical solutions

Partner with Epic representatives and University Health stakeholders to meet project deliverables and timelines

Participate in site visits, validation sessions, and integrated workflow meetings

Provide training and ongoing support to end users as required

Monitor project status and communicate progress, issues, and milestones to leadership

Participate in on-call support, including emergency response, system maintenance, and phone support

Perform other duties as assigned based on team and organizational needs

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology or other work related field is required

Experience as an Epic application analyst preferred but not required

Experience specifically in Epic Ambulatory applications preferred

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required

Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement

Must successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test

issues, and phone support. Travel is required for Epic training and certification, including extended periods. Must successfully complete pre-employment and annual health screenings.
