The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) includes all engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with every Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management.

We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.

You will provide Test Equipment (TE) integration, security consultation, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systems.

As part of the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team, you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon.

This position is 100% On-Site in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do
  • Maintain and support Windows and Linux server environments
  • Support virtualization platforms and storage systems
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability
  • Assist with backup operations, restores, and disaster recovery testing
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application issues
  • Provide Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of Test Equipment (TE)
  • Develop Cybersecurity compliant TE/Test Environments (Linux, IOS, Windows)
  • Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Digital Technology, and Cybersecurity Teams

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with systems administration of Windows Servers
  • Experience Designing, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting VMware or Hyper-V clustering technologies (e.g., vSphere/ESXi clusters, HA/DRS)
  • Experience with Enterprise storage devices including provisioning, performance troubleshooting, and availability concepts (SAN/NAS, LUNs/volumes, multipathing, snapshots/replication)

Qualifications We Prefer
  • DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, etc.)
  • Experience as a Systems Engineer managing Operational Technology and/or test systems in a production environment
  • Experience designing, implementing, and administering Microsoft Windows Server Failover Clustering in an enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments integrating on-prem infrastructure with Azure and/or AWS (connectivity, identity, workload integration, operational support)
  • Troubleshooting experience with all Microsoft Windows and Linux systems
  • Experience networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing)
  • Customer service and training skills, including oral and technical written communications
  • Experience independently troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware/software issues across enterprise systems

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
