About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with strong P&C Insurance domain expertise to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of key insurance platforms and products.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business, underwriting, actuarial, and technology teams - ensuring the delivery of scalable, compliant, and high-impact solutions across insurance systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own product vision, roadmap, and backlog for P&C insurance products
  • Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and technology teams to define business requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverables
  • Prioritize backlog based on business value, regulatory requirements, and cost of delay
  • Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure successful product delivery and system integration
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, audit requirements, and data governance standards
  • Track and manage product KPIs to measure success and business impact
  • Support release planning, deployment coordination, and post-production validation
  • Identify dependencies across systems such as rating engines, underwriting platforms, and policy administration systems
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager / Business Analyst
  • Strong domain expertise in P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance
  • Experience with:
    • Underwriting workflows
    • Pricing / rating engines
    • Claims and policy administration systems
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise system integrations and data flows
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make data-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on digital transformation initiatives in insurance
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance, rate filings, and audit processes
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar product management tools
  • Technical understanding to collaborate with engineering teams
