Position SummaryThe Senior Technical Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading and managing complex digital technology projects within the Digital Technology team. This role requires strong stakeholder management, proactive issue resolution, and meticulous project documentation to ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives in fast-paced environments. The Senior PM will collaborate across multiple teams, including Systems Integrators (SIs), business stakeholders, and internal teams, to drive project execution and continuous improvement. SAP Project implementation experience is must.
Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management- Lead and facilitate project meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, and issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, SIs, and business partners.
- Drive decision-making processes and escalate issues as needed.
2. Meeting Management & Documentation- Prepare, lead, and document meetings, including agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-ups.
- Ensure meeting notes are detailed, timely, and shared with all relevant stakeholders.
- Track and monitor action items and decisions to closure.
- Utilize available tools (e.g., meeting transcription, collaboration platforms) to enhance documentation accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. MS office skills.
3. Project Planning & Execution- Maintain and update the "Plan on a Page" and detailed project plans regularly.
- Own and drive updating project Plan. Ensure that it is updated at all times.
- Monitor project progress against timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate resources and tasks to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
4. Issue & Ticket Tracking- Proactively track all project issues, tickets, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve blockers.
- Follow up diligently to ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Maintain visibility of issue status for the team and leadership.
5. Communication & Reporting- Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Communicate changes, risks, and impacts clearly and promptly.
- Facilitate transparent and open communication channels within the project team.
Required Skills and Competencies- Proven experience managing complex technology projects in a matrixed environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable asking clarifying questions and driving discussions.
- Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms.
- Strong understanding of SAP landscape, including ECC/S/4HANA and integrated modules
- Proven experience managing projects within complex SAP landscapes
- Monday.com, Smartsheet. SAP ALM, ADO and MS office tools
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $77.00 - $90.00/hr.
