About this Position:

Job Title: SAP Junior Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain SAP ECC HR modules within client to support evolving business needs.

  • Implement workflow-driven solutions to reduce manual entry and modernize HR processes.

  • Design role-based access controls and maintain system protocols and configuration documentation.

  • Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing; support production rollouts and resolve system issues.

  • Monitor and improve HR data accuracy, integrity, and cross-system consistency.

  • Develop reports and dashboards using SAP tools, Excel, and Power BI; support audit and compliance reporting.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, user guides, and SharePoint resources; provide user support and training.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance to align system functionality, gather requirements, and support security and data policies.

  • Support HR system modernization projects, implement technical solutions, and follow public health programming governance and approval requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ Years of Experience with SAP ECC HR modules, including system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting to optimize SAP HR system workflows to support automation and reduce manual processes.

  • 3+ Years of Experience with State HR/Payroll processes, data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, FLSA), and regulatory compliance frameworks.

  • 3+ Years of Experience in data validation, integrity monitoring, and issue resolution across HR systems.

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Advanced reporting and dashboard development using SAP tools, Excel, and Power BI.

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and collaborative tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).

  • 3+ Years of Experience with role- based access control (RBAC) and position-driven system access configuration.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks, including NIST 800-53, FISMA, and infosec policies.

  • Experience with IT Implementation Projects.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.
