Job Title: SAP FICO RTR Consultant (SME)

Location: Onsite – Santa Clara, CA (5 days/week office)

Job Description:

We are seeking a senior SAP FICO RTR Consultant to act as a Subject Matter Expert across Record to Report (RTR), Treasury, and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. The role will focus on translating finance business needs into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions and driving complex implementations in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as SME for RTR, Treasury, and P2P, translating business requirements into SAP solutions
• Own and drive complex SAP FICO solutions aligned with business strategy
• Provide functional specifications, configure, and implement SAP solutions
• Work closely with development, AMS, and cross-functional IT teams to resolve critical issues
• Design and implement flexible, scalable finance solutions in S/4HANA
• Support multiple initiatives in parallel and engage with senior stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years as an SAP FICO functional expert (RTR, Treasury, P2P)
• Strong S/4HANA finance knowledge (RTR, Treasury, Tax) and SAP Cloud services
• Deep understanding of GAAP, public company reporting, and compliance
• Strong FI-MM and FI-SD integrations
• Treasury experience including bank connectivity (SWIFT, multibank), in-house cash, lockbox, and EBS
• Experience with SAP tax configuration, integration with SD/MM/Ariba, and eDocuments
• Working knowledge of Sales & Use Tax, GST/VAT, and Withholding Tax
• Experience with OneSource or similar tax tools (preferred)
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementations (Greenfield or Brownfield) with Fiori & SAP Cloud apps

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Ariba, Concur, Treasury, Workiva
• Background with Big 4 / Tier-1 consulting firms
• CPA / Chartered Accountant certification

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT / Computer Science
• CPA or CA preferred
