Job Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced AWS Databricks Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable data platforms on AWS.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, Databricks, and data engineering, along with a focus on security, governance, and performance optimization.
  • This role requires hands-on experience in building data solutions, enabling CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and infrastructure tools.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks platform and workspace setup.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architecture and microservices.
  • Knowledge of AWS security best practices including IAM, VPC, and encryption mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Provision and configure Databricks workspaces in AWS environments.
  • Set up networking components including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
  • Implement storage and credential configurations with encryption and security controls.
  • Define and manage role-based access controls and authentication mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and governance policies.
  • Configure data access and integration with external data sources.
  • Enable data ingestion frameworks and orchestrate data pipelines.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks and workflows.
  • Implement monitoring, cost optimization, and performance tuning strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve execution and platform issues.
  • Apply governance, audit logging, and data lineage tracking practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align with architectural standards.
  • Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
Should Have:
  • Experience with data governance and enterprise compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
Skills:
  • AWS cloud architecture.
  • Databricks and data engineering.
  • Infrastructure as Code and automation.
  • Security and governance.
  • Data integration and pipeline orchestration.
  • Performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Equivalent practical experience in cloud architecture or data engineering roles.
