Desktop Support Technician (Onsite / Field Support)We're hiring a
Desktop Support Technician to join a growing IT services team delivering hands-on, high-quality support to end users in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy being the go-to tech expert, solving problems onsite, and working directly with customers, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide onsite desktop and field support for end users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Deploy, image, and configure laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, phones, and peripherals
- Support Windows operating systems and approved applications
- Assist with new user setups, password resets, and device onboarding
- Diagnose performance issues and network slowness
- Manage updates and respond to system alerts
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including evenings/weekends
- Clearly communicate technical solutions to non-technical users
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of hands-on desktop or field support experience
- 3+ years supporting hardware break/fix and Windows imaging
- Networking and connectivity troubleshooting experience
- Excellent customer-facing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Nice to Have- Windows 10 experience
- Device migration and deployment projects
- Exposure to cloud technologies

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
