Desktop Support Technician (Onsite / Field Support)

We're hiring a Desktop Support Technician to join a growing IT services team delivering hands-on, high-quality support to end users in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy being the go-to tech expert, solving problems onsite, and working directly with customers, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide onsite desktop and field support for end users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Deploy, image, and configure laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, phones, and peripherals
• Support Windows operating systems and approved applications
• Assist with new user setups, password resets, and device onboarding
• Diagnose performance issues and network slowness
• Manage updates and respond to system alerts
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including evenings/weekends
• Clearly communicate technical solutions to non-technical users

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on desktop or field support experience
• 3+ years supporting hardware break/fix and Windows imaging
• Networking and connectivity troubleshooting experience
• Excellent customer-facing, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Nice to Have

• Windows 10 experience
• Device migration and deployment projects
• Exposure to cloud technologies

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
