Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX. This is a 12 month contract position.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in software development with C#/.NET Core
• Strong experience with Oracle, database design, performance tuning, and complex queries
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, branching strategies
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in .Net framework, C#, Web services and RESTful APIs, client side technologies - JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Expertise in Oracle
• Strong technical problem-solving, reverse engineering and analytical skills for a complex Service Oriented Architecture financial system with security in mind
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Sufficient experience to work with design, structure and functionality of an existing system
• Ability to work with design patterns and multiple systems architecture designs and integration flows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with distributed team including offshore
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle, including writing stories, low level documentation, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
• Enterprise integrations Software Engineering design patterns
• Knowledge of Agile, Jira software
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle, including writing stories, low level documentation, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing

Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26
