Security Risk Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Security Risk Analyst to support enterprise-wide information security and risk management efforts. This role partners closely with IT, security, and business teams to assess risk, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, document, and manage information security risks across systems and processes
* Support and maintain the organization's security risk management framework
* Partner with IT and business stakeholders to translate risk requirements into technical controls
* Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and audits; track findings in a GRC tool
* Monitor regulatory requirements and emerging security threats
* Support remediation planning and risk mitigation activities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field; Security certifications a plus
* Experience in IT security risk management, audits, or compliance
* Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy (e.g., HIPAA) preferred
* Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, COBIT)
* Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
