Job SummaryThe Shipping and Receiving Employee will be responsible for ensuring the proper packaging and receiving of materials, as well as loading and unloading trucks.
Primary Job Duties, includes but is not limited to:- Operate standup and sit down forklift to move material
- Receive and ship material from the incoming and outgoing trucks
- Load and unload semi-trailers
- Utilize software and/or paper system to track receipt and shipping of products
- Shipping to include crating/packing
- Place product in the storage rack
- Read/follow a bill of materials
- Stand and walk 8 hours a day
- Possess good communication and organizational skills
- Frequently lift 30 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs
- Work in a safe manner while maintaining 5s.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
