Top Secret Required -- Network Manager

We are seeking an experienced Network Manager to lead network operations, administration, and engineering efforts for a critical customer environment. In this role, you will oversee a team of network professionals, ensure the delivery and availability of core services, and collaborate closely with customers, technical teams, and vendors to support mission success. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects to completion in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage network administration and support operations for a designated business area or customer.
• Supervise and mentor a team of network professionals, ensuring quality, performance, and timely project completion.
• Oversee the execution of network-related projects, change requests, and incident resolution to maintain service availability.
• Identify operational challenges, remove impediments, and ensure continuous workflow across the team.
• Collaborate with customers, internal technical groups, and external vendors to support operational success.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing solutions and recommend improvements that enhance security, redundancy, and fault tolerance.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and strategic goals and align team operations accordingly.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and optimize performance.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree OR 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Experience

• 10+ years of related professional experience in network engineering or network operations

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated experience in:
  • Network Design and Engineering
  • Performance and Capacity Management
  • Incident Isolation
  • Network Monitoring
  • Network Configuration Management
• Experience with:
  • Firewalls
  • CCNA-level networking
  • Cisco routers
  • Network infrastructure design and support
  • Troubleshooting complex network issues

Security Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Possess Q or TS clearance (or equivalent), with the ability to obtain a Q-level clearance
• Must maintain eligibility for clearance as a condition of employment

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Effective leadership and people management capabilities

Required Certification

• CCNA

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP
• CASP
• ITIL
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
