Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to manage and scale our core cloud infrastructure and SaaS platform. This role is a blend of cloud engineering, system administration, and specialized MongoDB database management within an AWS environment. You will drive automation, ensure high availability, and maintain strict security standards for our mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Support and scale core cloud systems (Linux/Windows), network configurations, and AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch).
• Database Administration: Lead the installation, security management, and performance tuning of MongoDB in AWS.
• Automation & IaC: Design code-based solutions using Python, Go, or PowerShell to automate routine operations and manage Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Deployment & CI/CD: Manage production deployments for our SaaS platform using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef.
• Reliability & Monitoring: Lead incident management and maintain robust monitoring/alerting systems (Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace).
• Security & Compliance: Ensure business continuity and data protection in alignment with HIPAA and HITRUST standards.
• Collaboration: Partner with Dev and Ops teams in a Scrum environment to provide technical direction and hands-on mentoring.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in DevOps/SRE roles supporting production AWS environments.
• Database Expertise: 3 5+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB architecture and performance tuning.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Linux/Windows administration and networking (VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
• Tooling: Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and Git-based workflows.
• Security Mindset: Experience with security tools (e.g., Prisma, Tenable, OSSEC) and managing sensitive data.
• Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to document complex logic for team contribution.

Work Requirements

• Participation in a 24x7 rotating on-call schedule for critical incident resolution.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
