Network Engineer

Description
We are seeking Network Engineers at multiple experience levels to support day-to-day operations and project initiatives
Must be able to sit onsite in Louisville, KY or Simpsonville, KY (heavy onsite presence expected).
Role Overview:
- Level 1 Engineers will support foundational network operations, handle routine troubleshooting, and gain hands-on experience to grow into a Level 2 role.
- Level 2 Engineers will take ownership of more complex network environments, perform advanced troubleshooting and deployments, and progress toward Level 3 responsibilities over time.
Core Skills & Qualifications (by Level):
Level 1 (Growth into Level 2)
- Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics, firewall fundamentals)
- Experience with access layer switch configuration, port troubleshooting, and basic connectivity issues
- Comfortable working in ticketing and change management systems
- Ability to follow established procedures while learning more advanced networking skills
- Strong motivation, reliability, and communication skills
Level 2 (Progressing toward Level 3)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise routing, switching, and firewall technologies
-Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network issues
- Strong configuration, deployment, and change execution skills with minimal oversight
- Familiarity with network segmentation, security best practices, and enterprise architecture concepts
- Experience contributing to design discussions and mentoring junior engineers
- Highly self-driven, organized, and capable of owning issues end-to-end
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily operational network support
- Perform troubleshooting and configuration tasks appropriate to experience level
- Execute routine maintenance, documentation updates, and change activities
- Escalate and resolve issues effectively while expanding technical capabilities
- Participate in network projects, including staging/builds, deployments, and enhancements
- Support ongoing improvements to network operations and architecture
Experience Expectations:
- Level 1: 1-3 years of networking or related IT experience
- Level 2: 5+ years of network engineering experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
