Candidates should have hands-on experience in customer-facing engineering, AI/LLM implementation, full-stack development, and taking solutions from requirements gathering through production deployment.
FDE experience + hands-on AI/LLM integration + Full Stack Engineering + enterprise implementation. Traditional developers without FDE or equivalent customer-facing delivery experience should not be prioritized.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with strong AI/LLM and Full Stack Development skills. The candidate will work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business challenges, develop customized AI-driven solutions, integrate them into existing enterprise systems, and take ownership of end-to-end implementation and production deployment.
Mandatory Technical Skills

FDE Experience: Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or in a similar customer-facing engineering role, working directly with clients to deliver technical solutions.

AI/LLM Engineering: Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into business applications and workflows. Experience using AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and deployment.

Full Stack Development: Strong hands-on experience in backend development, APIs, and frontend applications.

API & Enterprise Integrations: Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SAML/SSO, and integration with enterprise systems.

Database & Infrastructure: Strong SQL, data mapping, and data migration skills. Experience with containers, CI/CD pipelines, and environment configuration.

Production Troubleshooting: Ability to identify root causes, debug application issues, implement fixes, and validate solutions in production environments.

Security: Understanding of access controls, sensitive data protection, and enterprise security requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify workflow challenges, and recommend AI-driven solutions.

Design, develop, and integrate LLM-powered applications into existing enterprise workflows.

Own end-to-end implementation, including environment setup, configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, and rollback planning.

Work within existing enterprise technology stacks and architecture.

Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve adoption challenges faced by business users.

Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and production-ready.

Create technical documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.

Communicate project progress, identify risks, and proactively recommend solutions.
