Position: Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III

Job Location: 2403 SE J St, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Technology Solution Automation: employ automation tools (For example Chef or puppet) to automate repetitive tasks and releases for a more efficient workflow. Manages small agile teams or workstreams for systems engineering solutions by analyzes requirements based on project or business needs; partners with cross-functional teams to determine system requirements for systems application development; evaluates existing options and determines solutions that support business or project requirements; develops and implements project timelines; builds systems engineering solutions; and works with the project team to integrate systems engineering solutions with overall project designs. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Infrastructure Maintenance: perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes. Escalate any issue that occurs in the backup media. Audit desktops for compliance with IT policies. Conduct regular database integrity checks to ensure minimal data loss. Troubleshoots issues related to systems engineering solutions by serves as software operational support and provides subject matter expertise; researches and reviews reported issues; develops and implements solutions based on expertise or escalates to appropriate teams when needed; identifies trends in issues and determines the root cause; collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive solutions; updates stakeholders on issue resolution. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Requirement And Scoping Analysis: understand the Business/Stakeholder/Technical requirements and assist in analyzing the existing solutions to address the needs (in case of agile methodology, for the iteration). Prepare requirement traceability matrix and maintain traceability between business requirements, functional requirements, design and test cases. Contribute to the creation of user stories for component/module/simple requirements (for example: based on scalability etc.) (For agile methodology). Manages daily operations support for existing systems engineering solutions by performs complex maintenance and monitors the health and performance of systems engineering solutions; develops and delivers operational features and operations management systems and processes to accommodate growth and traffic on eCommerce websites; designs systems testing processes and environments; evaluates logs in order to proactively detect and document issues; performs daily requirements in order to ensure reliable and continued service; documents engineering processes and designs; and mentors and trains team members on applicable topics and processes Coding: adhere to all relevant coding guidelines (Ex: code review processes, code branching strategies, reusability etc.) while writing/configuring code. Create/configure minimalistic (Less Complex, Highly Robust and high quality) code for a component/module under guidance. Maintain records by documenting program development and revisions. Stay updated on the prevalent coding languages and frameworks in the industry outside the immediate scope of delivery. Identify repetitive and routine tasks in (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) CI/CD, Testing or any other process that can be automated. Implement telemetry features as required under guidance.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering or related experience OR 3 years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering or related experience.

Skills Required: Must have experience with: Android; helping developer teams to understand the coding process and the interactions with the MDM; Advanced Linux administrator; VMware Administrator; Advanced scripting to migrate Xen to VMware virtual machines unattended; designing client infrastructure connectivity solutions Juniper SRX, SSG, VPN; Puppet master and puppet deployments; implementing VoIP connections among Cisco Routers and Asterisk Open source boxes; Advanced customer care to solve L2-L3 incidents with customers; solving Network issues for VoIP, wireless devices and local computers and servers using Wireshark. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Rate of pay: $102,274 - $155,000/year
