Role: Business Development
Location: San Jose, CA (100% Remote)
Duration: 5/6/2026 to 5/7/2027
Note: Deep subject matter expertise in the Splunk security partner ecosystem and the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
· Industry Experience: 5+ years of professional experience within the software or SaaS security sector, with a proven track record of managing and scaling diverse partner ecosystems, including Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), Global System Integrators (GSIs), and technology alliances.
· Professional Background: Demonstrated expertise in Product Management, Product Marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, or Management Consulting, with a focus on driving growth for technology-based solutions.
· Strategic Execution: Proven success in designing, launching, and managing comprehensive channel and technology partner programs that deliver measurable business results and foster long-term ecosystem health.
· Leadership & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategic initiatives to executive leadership and influence cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
· Business Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, characterized by a strategic and creative approach to identifying market opportunities and overcoming complex business challenges to drive sustainable growth.
Desired Skills:
· Data-Driven Strategic Analysis: Proficiency in leveraging Excel and Salesforce (SFDC) to perform deep-dive analysis of partner business performance. Ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights that drive partner growth and retention strategies.
· Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise messaging for diverse audiences, ranging from executive leadership to technical engineering teams and external partners.
· Go-To-Market (GTM) & Ecosystem Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing GTM messaging across a comprehensive security portfolio.
· Deep subject matter expertise in the Splunk security partner ecosystem and the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Proven track record of partnering with Product, Engineering, and Enablement teams. Ability to advocate for partner requirements, identify organizational friction points, and proactively drive solutions to accelerate adoption
