Location: 230 Mall Blvd, King of Prussia. 19406 (100% On-Site)

  • Candidates will be eligible to work 4 10’s (4, 10 hour workdays) or 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off
  • We will accept traveling consultants and relocation candidates

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance Required
Duration: Long-Term Contract – 1 Year SOW renewable yearly.

Position Overview

We are seeking talented Software Developers to join a mission-focused engineering team supporting critical national security initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for engineers with experience in modern software development, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and Agile environments.

Candidates may come from a variety of development backgrounds, including Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, and will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of secure, scalable software solutions supporting highly sensitive government programs.

This role requires an active Top Secret security clearance and onsite work in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain secure software applications and services.
  • Develop solutions using Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or related technologies.
  • Build and support microservices, APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and services.
  • Perform code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Support mission-critical initiatives while complying with security and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance required at the time of hire.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain additional government clearances, including SCI and/or Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility.
  • Professional software development experience using one or more of the following:
    • Java
    • C#
    • Python
    • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience developing modern applications using software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as:
    • AWS
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience building and supporting:
    • Microservices
    • RESTful APIs
    • Distributed systems
    • Data-centric applications
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as:
    • Jenkins
    • GitLab CI/CD
    • Azure DevOps
  • Experience with containerization technologies including:
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes
  • Experience using Git and version control best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile collaboration tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or other federal government programs.
  • Experience with secure software development practices.
  • Knowledge of system architecture, cloud-native design, and scalable application development.
  • Experience leading technical efforts or mentoring junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Experience working within highly regulated or classified environments.
