Position OverviewWe are looking for a senior data scientist to join our team at DIA.
ResponsibilitiesWork with complex data sets to solve real world problems. Support the warfighter and policy makers with decision making.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R
- 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL
- Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly #qinetiqclearedjob
- Bachelor's degree + 8 YOE or 12 YOE years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and PowerBI
- Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoD or a federal agency
- Familiarity with HUMINT
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
Pay TransparencyThe salary range for this role is $125,000- $132,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
