Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
2. Applying knowledge of engineering principles to design products
3. Conducting product testing and creating models and prototypes.
4. Overseeing the manufacturing process for the machinery.
5. Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
6. Providing technical advice to the project team, addressing design and production challenges.
7. Participating in internal and external meetings, providing expert input and recommendations on mechanical engineering strategies and initiatives.
8. Maintaining and updating knowledge of current best practices, production standards, and technological advancements.
9. Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and working with vendors and contractors.
10. Developing design documentation using AutoCAD 3D and other relevant software.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within sheet metal fabrication and/or electrical products
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, electrical design, and design documentation.
4. Proven experience with mechanical design and project management.
5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
6. Ability to interpret specifications, technical drawings, and blueprints.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
