Cloud Architect - Direct Client Role

Remote : Travel within USA for 3 client site visits. (Expenses paid)

Project phase is for 4 months – Extendable for next 12 months 

Any visa works - C2C - 

Exp:15 + years

Long term contract Role if the candidate performs well in initial 4 months

Design and implement enterprise data governance platform for a client in the Healthcare Space using Microsoft Purview across Azure, AWS, and Snowflake. Includes AI/GenAI accelerators for automated metadata classification and extraction.

 Primary and Must :

 cloud architecture experience (Azure AWS multi-cloud)

 Microsoft Purview Must***********

 Snowflake and AWS S3 integration patterns

 Azure OpenAI

 HIPAA (Healthcare Data Governance) Good to have 

 AI

Technical (Must-have)

· 10+ years cloud architecture experience (Primarily Azure)

· Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview Data Map, Information Protection, DLP

· Hands-on Microsoft Purview experience (within last 18 months)

· Data lineage architecture and Apache Atlas APIs experience

Healthcare/Compliance (Critical)

· Deep understanding of healthcare, data standards and associated compliances

· Experience implementing data governance models in healthcare organizations

· PHI/PII data protection in cloud environments

Soft Skills

· C-level communication skills (will present to CTO/CDO)

· Can lead technical teams remotely (US + India)

· Strong documentation and architecture diagramming

Experience with AI/GenAI platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, LangChain, or MS Copilot Studio) for metadata automation and intelligent data classification

· Available for at least 3 onsite trips during project

Nice-to-Have

· Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Application Insights

· Healthcare/life sciences industry background

· Azure Document Intelligence experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Purview multi-cloud architecture across Azure, AWS, and Snowflake

2. Design collection hierarchy and implement RBAC model for domain-based access control

3. Create healthcare-compliant taxonomy and classification schemes

4. Architect AI accelerators using Azure OpenAI for automated metadata tagging and extraction

5. Design end-to-end data lineage architecture (medallion layer: Bronze-Silver-Gold)

6. Define and maintain governance policies for data privacy, security, and interoperability

7. Identify compliance risks in data handling and propose mitigation strategies

8. Lead technical workshops and present architecture to client executive stakeholders (CTO/CDO)

9. Guide implementation team (Purview Engineers, AI Engineers, Security Lead) on complex integrations
