Job Title: Junior IT Support Technician
Contract Duration: 4-6 Months (through at least October)
Location: Fully onsite in New York, NY office (Upper East Side area)
Hours: Part Time 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM-3:00 PM EST
Day-to-day Responsibilities
• Assist with a phone deployment project for staff
• Provide level 1 support and troubleshooting for staff
• Provide basic Tier 1 technical support for end users
• Configure and deploy laptops, Chromebooks, mobile devices, printers, and copiers
• Support classroom technology and AV equipment setup
• Maintain inventory records and documentation for hardware deployments
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues
• Provide hands-on support for various technology projects
Required
•1-4 years of technical support experience OR strong technical aptitude/interest technology
•Basic troubleshooting experience with computers, laptops, Chromebooks, or mobile devices
•Strong communication skills; professional, personable
•Hard-working, proactive, and eager to learn
•Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
Nice to Have Skills:
• Chromebooks or mobile device support
• Experience supporting printers, copiers, classroom technology, or AV equipment
