Job Title: AWS Solutions Architect (Data-Focused)
Location: Neenah, WI (Onsite at Client Office)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect with a strong data engineering and analytics background who is willing to work onsite at our client s office in Neenah, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions on AWS, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end AWS cloud solutions with a strong focus on data platforms and analytics
- Lead the development of data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS
- Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective architectures
- Implement and manage AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, and DynamoDB
- Ensure best practices for data security, governance, performance, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and application teams during design and implementation
- Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and documentation
- Support production systems and drive continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data and analytics services
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data concepts
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Experience with data integration tools and streaming platforms
- Strong understanding of security, IAM, networking, and compliance in AWS
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional)
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise data environments
- Prior experience working in onsite client-facing roles
Work Location Requirement
- Must be willing to work from the client office in Neenah, Wisconsin (onsite presence required)
