Java Backend Developer - W2 only

Introduction:

This position is for a Java Backend Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems using Java, Spring Framework, Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and various authentication methods like OAuth and JWT. The ideal candidate will have a strong coding background and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture
Implement and integrate Apache Kafka and Apache Cassandra for data processing and storage
Ensure data security and authentication by implementing OAuth and JWT
Optimize database queries and performance using PostgreSQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of backend systems
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development

Requirements:

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Java programming language
Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
Knowledge of Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Apache Cassandra
Familiarity with PostgreSQL for database management
Understanding of authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in Agile development environments
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
