Job Title : Java full stack developer
Location : Reston, VA (Onsite)
Hire Type : Fulltime

Job Description:
8-10 years overall IT experience

Full Stack Engineer/Developer (Solid Java experience, REST API microservices, Spring framework etc.)
Work experience building and deploying apps using various AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, Cloud Formation, RDS, IAM, ELB, , ECS, SQS, SNS, , API Gateway,)
Experience building automation suites using Spring frameworks or python
  • Solid communication skills Verbal and Written

    Self-managed and motivated

    Flexible when it comes to changing priorities

    Proven track record of delivery assignments on time
Build and Deployment experience with Git, maven/Gradle and deployment pipelines

Basic understanding/knowledge on Terraform

Troubleshooting skills preferably AWS infrastructure
Skills:
  1. Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  2. Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server, and/or architecture of the system being developed
  3. Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of Client's internal customers
  4. Knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Python, SQL, AWS, Windows, Oracle.
Education/Work Experience:
  1. Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field
  2. Professional certification(s)
Desired:
  1. 15+ years of related experience in their specific area with experience leading teams on projects with similar scope and complexity.
  2. Experience as a lead developer for projects similar in scope and responsibility
