Title: Enterprise Architect

Position Type: Contract/ Full Time

Location: Remote across Canada

The Enterprise Architect leads the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions across diverse environments, powering platform acceleration and automation initiatives for current and future business needs. This role will advise clients on broad AI-driven cloud transformation programs and coordinate Intuitive technical practices to develop integrated programs and solutions to drive client business outcomes. This role enables technical excellence and future-readiness for Intuitive clients in healthcare and other industries, translating strategic requirements into actionable, automated, and compliant solutions

• Deep experience architecting enterprise-grade, cloud-native or hybrid solutions using IaC (such as Terraform, Pulumi, or cloud-native templates) and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.), compute, database, storage, networking, automation, and security best practices.
• Experience implementing cloud operating model improvements for large organizations
• Demonstrated ability to translate business and technical requirements into organized, scalable architectures.
• Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solution Architect Expert, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF, or similar frameworks
• Experience in developing enterprise solutions for clients with multi-cloud environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. MS degree desired.

Job/ Role description

• Architect and maintain end-to-end visibility and traceability across cloud network topologies, driving network transparency, connectivity analysis, and secure access for enterprise platforms.
• Translate high-level design visions into repeatable deployment patterns using cloud-agnostic Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), ensuring consistency, automation, and scalability across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
• Configure and optimize orchestration and management tooling for IaC-based environments, empowering infrastructure teams to rapidly provision secure, standards-based sandbox and production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with technology, business, and security stakeholders to co-create reference models, best practices, and future-state architectures aligned with evolving business needs.
• Support continuous improvement, DevOps enablement, and adoption of modern architecture patterns-developing deliverables that stand up to new platforms and future client requirements
• Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to inform platform evolution and deliver proactive, future-focused solutions for new business areas
• Develop and lead multi-year AI-driven cloud automation programs for large enterprise clients, integrating impact of multiple technical delivery teams into seamless solution delivery
