Role: Program Director – Pod Program Leadership

Location: New York City, NY (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

·       Own end-to-end program delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality, in alignment with the Statement of Work (SoW).

·       Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for client executives and key stakeholders.

·       Lead program governance activities, including status reviews, steering committee meetings, and planning sessions.

·       Identify and manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

·       Coordinate pod leads and delivery managers across onsite and offshore teams.

·       Oversee resource allocation, onboarding, capacity planning, and buffer resource utilization.

·       Monitor program financials, including resource utilization, financial forecasts, and invoicing alignment.

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve cross-functional and cross-pod blockers.

·       Ensure effective collaboration between Product, .NET Engineering, AI & Data, and DevOps teams.

·       Maintain strong client relationships and ensure delivery commitments are met.

 

Required Qualifications

·       12+ years of experience in IT delivery and program management.

·       5+ years of experience managing large, multi-pod programs.

·       Proven experience leading blended onsite and offshore teams.

·       Strong background in software engineering, data, and AI programs.

·       Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

·       Experience managing Statement of Work (SoW)-based engagements.

·       Hands-on experience with fixed-price and Time & Materials (T&M) engagement models.

·       Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

·       PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
