Project Manager- Data Platform Transformations

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and support an ongoing EPIC Program and enterprise-wide Data Platform Transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale data, analytics, cloud, and digital transformation programs, ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and technology teams.

The Project Manager will be responsible for driving project execution, governance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and coordination across business, engineering, architecture, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Platform Transformation and EPIC Program initiatives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and resource planning.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Analytics, Cloud Infrastructure, Product Management, and Business stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Facilitate project planning sessions, sprint ceremonies, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, action items, and critical dependencies.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
• Drive Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies as required.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support cloud migration, data modernization, data governance, and analytics initiatives.
• Monitor project health through KPIs, dashboards, and program metrics.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of Project Management experience with at least 3+ years leading Data Platform, Data Engineering, Analytics, or Cloud Transformation programs.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders and technology teams.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT processes, Data Governance, and Analytics platforms.
• Experience managing Agile/Scrum and hybrid project delivery models.
• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk mitigation.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale Data Platform Modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Data Engineering technologies including Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Kafka, Airflow, or similar platforms.
• Experience in enterprise transformation programs and PMO governance.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certification.
