Network / System Engineer - Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX / Jersey City, NJ - Contract - $73-78 Per HR
Description
This role involves designing and delivering infrastructure tools and services that align with business strategies. Located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, or Jersey City, NJ, this hybrid position requires three days onsite per week. Responsibilities include building a self-service platform for internal technology teams to deploy services securely, consistently, and efficiently. Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical definitions and reusable platform patterns.
- Design and maintain infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools for scalable and compliant service provisioning.
- Develop automation and CI/CD pipelines to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
- Embed security principles into platform services and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate solutions effectively and comply with engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Significant experience writing infrastructure as code configurations and modules.
- Experience with resource provisioning tools in enterprise-scale environments.
- Proficient in translating designs into developed infrastructure as code.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts and security.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud automation engineering.
