FreeSwitch Consultant
Position would be in Austin, Tx
Deep understanding and experience Voice/VoIP/SIP expert
Able to follow each leg of a call flow and perform and provide in-depth analysis on what is or is not occuring.
Understand Freeswitch modular design. Familiar with real-time communications and their applications
Platform owner, with a great degree of familiarity in linux-based appliances and operating systems
Identifying system and process improvements relating to the Contact Centre Voice Platform and recommending new solutions and designs.
Required Skills:
5+ years of Voice Engineering, telephony experience
Proficient with developing voice solutions, support, call flow diagrams, VUI and other design documentation
Knowledge of SIP media gateways and Freeswitch integrations
Expert with network protocols including a thorough understanding of network fundamentals
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Extensive experience with Unix/Linux OS system administration, configuration, performance tuning, maintenance and security
Scripting/Automation including Python/Bash/etc.
Knowledge of Oracle, Cassandra Database, Experience with Docker and other Cloud style deployments (Kubernetes)
