Technical Lead - O365 Migration Consultant

Job Description:

The Client is seeking a Technical Lead to provide technical expertise and leadership for the O365 tenant-to-tenant migration project. The Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing the migration strategy to ensure all technical components are successfully transitioned. The Technical Lead will oversee migration activities including user mailboxes, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and associated configurations such as permissions, policies, and security settings. The Consultant will ensure compliance with security standards, perform testing and validation of migrated data, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure a smooth and efficient migration process.

Must meet all experience requirements stated below.

1. 5 years of experience successfully delivering technical expertise and leadership on projects of similar size and complexity, for the State of CA     
2. 4 years of experience of successfully delivering O365 migration projects of similar size and complexity for the State of CA (experience shall include migration of email, SharePoint, Teams, One Drive (including permissions migration)).
3. 3 years of experience migrating partial O365 environments between Government Community Cloud tenants.
4. 4 years of experience of in Microsoft O365 configuration and management.
5. 4 years of experience of in Microsoft Entra ID
6. 4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC)
7. 3 years of experience with AADC with the State of California Global Address List (GAL)
8. 5 years of experience writing technical documentation and designs
9. Desirable Certifications - If applicable, certification relevant to the software proposed for this migration project.
