Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, mainframe SAS migration, Python, and Java UI integration and a proven ability to convert and modernize legacy SAS processes into performant Oracle-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Convert and migrate legacy Mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
- Analyze existing SAS workflows and redesign logic for Oracle-based execution.
- Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of Oracle-based solutions.
- Build and enhance a Java-based UI for ongoing process maintenance.
- Develop Python utilities for automation, data processing, and migration.
- Collaborate with the technology manager for reporting, planning, and delivery oversight.
- Use JIRA for task tracking within Agile or hybrid workflows.
- Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative delivery-focused environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Hands-on experience with Mainframe SAS and migration of SAS logic.
- Working proficiency with Python for automation and data handling.
- Experience supporting or integrating with Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet timelines.
- Proven teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Consistent delivery of high-quality technical outcomes.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to COBOL on mainframe.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments.
