Job Description

Agile Release Manager

As our Agile Release Manager for Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) ECG Solutions, you will develop and oversee the entire software development and release lifecycle from planning to production deployment, ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant releases of software and device firmware.

Your role:
  • Lead enterprise-wide software and device firmware releases, ensuring timely, efficient deployments to pre-production and production environments while aligning with Agile program increments (PIs) and sprint schedules.
  • Own deployment and release planning and governance, including maintaining an enterprise release calendar and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery of value to customers and patients.
  • Monitor and improve release performance, developing KPIs and metrics to measure deployment success, code quality, performance trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Drive stakeholder communication and operational excellence, providing regular status updates, managing risks, dependencies, and impediments, and resolving conflicts quickly to keep releases on track.
  • Identify and address deployment bottlenecks, analyzing trends and recommending solution-level improvements while continuously enhancing release standards, processes, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure compliance, quality, and patient safety, maintaining adherence to regulatory and industry standards such as FDA, ISO, NIST, HIPAA, and other requirements for regulated healthcare environments.

You're the right fit if:
  • You've acquired 2+ years of experience as a release manager/release engineer coordinating multiple product deployment/releases across an enterprise wide, multi-geographic, dependency-rich product stack. Extensive experience applying Lean Agile principles and experience with Agile / Scrum and hybrid development models. Experience with CI/CD & Azure DevOps is preferred and with SAFe is nice to have.
  • Your skills include working in SaaS, Cloud and SaMD; as well as:
    • Clear focus on value delivery within the context of the overall solution.
    • Strong systems thinking capabilities with the ability to understand how ART level changes impact the entire solution.
    • Skilled in complex problem solving and resolving multifaceted technical or organizational bottlenecks.
    • Strong active listening skills with the ability to synthesize complex viewpoints and build common understanding.
    • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to manage and coordinate dependencies across multiple teams.
    • Familiarity with key flow metrics, including lead time, cycle time, WIP, throughput, and predictability.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree, required, Master's Degree, preferred in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent related field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You possess excellent oral & written communication skills, are fluent in English with strong people orientation, a collaborative mindset and a drive for results.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This is an office role.
