Summary

Systems Operations Analyst / Production Support Analyst
Location: Malvern, PA - onsite five days per week
W2 rate: $50/hr
Interview process: Three rounds; the final round is with a Portfolio Manager

Candidates may interview remotely and relocate to Malvern upon receiving an offer. The title and experience level are flexible based on the candidate's background.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a production support professional with strong technical skills and a solid understanding of the investment industry. This role supports applications used by portfolio managers and traders. The right candidate can investigate production issues, trace logs, explain findings clearly, and communicate confidently with investment professionals.

Responsibilities

Support production applications used by portfolio managers and traders.
Investigate incidents, analyze application and system logs, and trace issues through the relevant systems.
Troubleshoot problems in a trading environment and coordinate with technical teams to resolve them.
Communicate issue status, findings, and resolutions clearly to business users and technical teams.
Provide responsive support to portfolio managers and other investment professionals.

Required Qualifications

Strong investment industry knowledge, including the terminology and concepts needed to work effectively with portfolio managers.
Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting live issues.
Working knowledge of AWS and Python, plus familiarity with Java.
Ability to read and trace application and system logs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
