Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AEM Cloud Architect / Tech Lead with 8+ years of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience, including at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AEM Cloud architecture, Cloud Manager, AEM development, enterprise DAM, headless content delivery, Adobe Experience Cloud integrations, CDN/Dispatcher optimization, and CI/CD.
The candidate must have successfully completed at least one AEM 6.x to AEM as a Cloud Service migration and should be capable of providing technical leadership across architecture, development, migration, integrations, performance optimization, and DevOps.
Experience leveraging AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot is required.

Key Responsibilities
1. AEM Cloud Architecture & Migration
- Lead enterprise migration initiatives from AEM 6.5/on-premise AEM to AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Define AEM Cloud architecture, technical standards, and development patterns.
- Analyze existing AEM implementations and identify migration dependencies.
- Design scalable and cloud-native AEM solutions.
- Lead technical decisions across migration, development, integration, and deployment.
2. AEM Development
Design and develop:
- AEM Templates
- Components
- HTL/Sightly
- Sling Models
- OSGi Services
- OSGi configurations
- Servlets
- Schedulers
- Event Handlers

3. AEM Cloud Manager & DevOps
- Design and manage Adobe Cloud Manager pipelines.
- Configure CI/CD workflows for AEM Cloud.
- Manage GitHub/Bitbucket integration with Cloud Manager.
- Establish deployment standards and release processes.
- Implement automated quality and security checks.
- Promote DevOps best practices across AEM development teams.
4. Headless & Omnichannel AEM
- Design headless content architectures using:
- Content Fragments
- Experience Fragments
- GraphQL
- Enable omnichannel content delivery across web, mobile, and other digital channels.
- Design reusable content models and APIs.
- Integrate AEM with internal and external enterprise applications.
5. Adobe Experience Cloud Integration
Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud technologies including:
- Adobe Data Collection / Tags
- Adobe Web SDK
- Adobe Mobile SDK
- Adobe Analytics
- Adobe Target
- Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
- Design and implement event-driven integrations using Adobe I/O.
- Support integration between AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and other Adobe platforms.
6. AEM Assets & Enterprise DAM
- Design and support enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations.
- Integrate AEM Assets with AEM Sites and external enterprise applications.
- Support asset workflows, metadata, integrations, and content delivery.
- Design scalable DAM architecture for enterprise environments.
7. Dispatcher, CDN & Performance
- Design and optimize AEM Dispatcher configurations.
- Work with:
- Reverse proxies
- Load balancers
- CDN architectures
- Optimize caching strategies and content delivery.
- Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.
- Establish best practices for high availability and reliability.
8. API & Event-Driven Integrations
- Design internal and external API integrations with AEM.
- Develop and consume REST/API-based services.
- Work with Adobe OpenAPI for AEM Assets and AEM Sites communication.
- Implement event-driven integrations using Adobe I/O and related technologies.
- Ensure integrations meet security, performance, and scalability requirements.
9. AI-Assisted Development
- Establish AI-assisted development practices for AEM engineering teams.
- Leverage tools such as:
- Claude
- ChatGPT
- GitHub Copilot
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities within AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Establish appropriate governance and best practices for AI-assisted development.
10. Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership to AEM developers and engineering teams.
- Conduct architecture and design reviews.
- Establish coding and development standards.
- Review technical implementations and provide recommendations.
- Mentor developers on AEM Cloud architecture and modern development practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, DevOps, and Adobe teams.
