Sr. Technical Solutions Architect - AI needed for a Contract to Hire position working remotely!

The client is building a cutting-edge Emerging Technology development and solutioning team focused on advancing capabilities in Artificial Intelligence. As a Senior Technical Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping AI strategy, designing enterprise-wide AI solutions, and enabling agentic outcomes in a secure, governed environment. This is a unique opportunity to influence the direction and structure of an AI Community of Practice within the Microsoft ecosystem, leveraging advanced AI concepts, architectures, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, direction, and technical development of the Emerging Technology practice, with a focus on AI innovation and adoption.
  • Architect and deliver enterprise-scale AI-based solutions that align with organizational goals and security/compliance requirements.
  • Implement and refine an Agentic AI Strategy, ensuring solutions are secure, governed, and optimized for business impact.
  • Establish and grow an AI Community of Practice, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Leverage advanced AI concepts, emerging technologies, and Microsoft ecosystem tools to drive innovation.
  • Provide thought leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI integration and automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-wide AI solutions in secure, governed environments.
  • Expertise in Agentic AI strategies and architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure AI, Cognitive Services, Copilot, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with AI model integration, orchestration, and deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and influence organizational strategy.
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, compliance standards, and ethical AI principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and leading AI Communities of Practice or similar collaborative initiatives.
  • Background in emerging technologies beyond AI (e.g., IoT, edge computing, automation).
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
