Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS/Couchbase

Job Description

Required Skills

5–10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related engineering role.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE principles, including reliability, monitoring, automation, incident management, and capacity planning.
2–5 years of Python experience, with the ability to develop automation and operational tools.
2–5 years of AWS S3 experience and familiarity with AWS storage and cloud services.
2–5 years of Terraform experience and strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
At least 1 year of hands-on Couchbase experience.
Experience with Linux administration, networking, troubleshooting, and production systems.
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed and cloud environments.
Experience working in production environments with high availability and scalability requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating Couchbase clusters at scale.
Experience with Couchbase XDCR, replication, indexing, performance tuning, backup/restore, and cluster upgrades.
Experience automating database provisioning and lifecycle management.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, EBS, Auto Scaling, and networking services.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
Experience with configuration management and automation tools.
Understanding of security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and cloud security best practices.
Experience participating in on-call rotations and production incident management.
