Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer
Location: Hartford, CT

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform to support data processing and analytics
• Optimize and monitor data pipelines for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide technical solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from different sources and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and pipeline failures
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in data engineering on Google Cloud Platform

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services, such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
• Proven track record of designing and implementing data pipelines in a cloud environment
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Apache Beam for data processing
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
