RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lake Forest, IL that is seeking a Senior Director, Application & AI Delivery to lead enterprise-scale application development and AI-driven transformation initiatives.
Summary:
This leadership role will oversee end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of technology programs, driving execution, governance, and operational excellence while scaling AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value.
Duties Include:
* Lead enterprise application and AI solution delivery
* Oversee complex programs, budgets, timelines, and delivery governance
* Drive AI adoption and operationalization across business platforms
* Manage vendors, SOWs, and delivery partners
* Build and lead high-performing technology teams
* Partner with senior business and technology leaders to drive transformation
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of application delivery, engineering, or technology leadership experience
* 5+ years of leading large-scale enterprise programs
* Experience delivering AI/ML, automation, or Generative AI solutions in production
* Strong background in cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and modern engineering practices
* Proven success managing system integrators, vendors, and offshore delivery teams
* Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
* Preferred: Insurance, financial services, or other regulated industry experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
