Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Commerce Cloud Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly SAP Hybris). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud architecture, customization, integrations, and end-to-end e-commerce implementation.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, functional consultants, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize SAP Commerce Cloud solutions based on business requirements.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP Commerce Cloud implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support.
- Develop and customize commerce features, including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, carts, checkout, orders, and customer management.
- Work with SAP Commerce Cloud extensions, type systems, FlexibleSearch, ImpEx, and Backoffice customization.
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and external systems using REST APIs, OCC APIs, and other integration mechanisms.
- Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP CRM, payment gateways, tax systems, and third-party applications as required.
- Work with SmartEdit, CMS components, content management, and storefront customization.
- Develop and maintain storefront applications using Spartacus / SAP Commerce Cloud composable storefront, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Configure and support product data management, catalog synchronization, search, promotions, and order processing.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and release management.
- Follow SAP development best practices, security standards, and established coding guidelines.
- Provide technical documentation and ongoing production support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Commerce Cloud / SAP Hybris development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture and e-commerce business processes.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud extensions, FlexibleSearch, ImpEx, and Backoffice.
- Knowledge of product catalog management, pricing, promotions, shopping carts, checkout, and order management.
- Experience with REST APIs, OCC APIs, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with storefront development technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud CMS and SmartEdit.
- Understanding of database concepts, SQL, application troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud composable storefront (Spartacus).
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP S/4HANA, and enterprise application integrations.
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud deployments, cloud environments, and upgrade projects.
- Familiarity with Solr search, caching, and performance tuning.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
- SAP Commerce Cloud certification is an advantage.

- Work Model: 100% Remote
- Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and participate in virtual meetings.
- Must be comfortable working independently and managing deliverables in a remote environment.
