Roles/Responsibilities:

The District seeks a firm that will perform the required work closely with LAUSD project team members and perform the responsibilities below but not limited to:

Manage the installation, construction and upgrade of low-voltage IT systems included but not limited to local area networks, wireless networks, VoIP systems, IP Public Address/Intercom and IP Video Camera systems in large campschool or government environments.
Create, review and monitor project schedules.
Review and approve statements of work (SOW), project designs and Bills of Material (BOM).
Manage and coordinate project resources.
Gather and analyze data to assist in the creation of project budgets.
Prepare and review time management plans and schedules and prepare recovery schedules to meet contract requirements.
Prepare project plans and reports regarding progress, issues and resolutions.
Prepares clear and concise reports.
Formulating and expressing ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally.
Setting priorities and successfully completing tasks in a timely manner.
Related tasks:

Conduct site visits and meetings with customers and stakeholders
Read and interpret design documentation, plans and specifications.
Collect, analyze and interpret statistical and budgetary information.
Tracks and maintains project expenditures and job tickets.
Prepare critical path schedules. o Generate e-mails of status completions

Maintain effective relationships with District personnel and other organizations.
A California Driver's license, use of a car.

Mandatory Skills:

Proposer's Resource must have at least five (5) years of experience in providing services as listed in the Statement of Work (SOW).
Graduation form a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Candidates must reside within 30 miles of Los Angeles at the time of hiring.
