New York City, NY.Business Intelligence AnalystTop Skills:Data visualizationSQL & PythonData ETL managementSummary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the creation of revenue and ad performance insights dashboards, while also supporting the maintenance of ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, writing SQL for analytics, data visualization, dashboarding, and collaborating with commercial stakeholders. This role will involve working with Sales to bring insights and ideas to life.
Responsibilities:
- Primary Role: Create revenue and ads insights dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with business needs in collaboration with Sales.
- Secondary Role: Understand business logic and help in maintaining complex ETL processes, ensuring code integrity and workflow efficiency.
- Understand business context and translate insights into actionable visualizations.
- Develop visualizations to support strategic initiatives and operational workflows.
- Work on data transformation to support reporting platforms and data warehouses.
- Monitor, test, and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data processing workflows are error-free.
- Provide ad hoc support and insights to drive results across the organization.
- Prioritize tasks to meet key deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative and/or technical field.
- 5-7 years of experience in data visualization, dashboard creation, and SQL for data analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL for data analysis skills.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience is a plus.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, DOMO, and Quicksight.
- Familiarity with data warehousing systems and ETL processes.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience using Python for data analysis.
- Task-driven with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively to align with business needs.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
