Summary

Resource 1 is seeking a Front-End Developer for a remote 6-month contract position. Selected individual will play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing user-facing features for web applications. Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers and product managers to deliver high-quality, responsive and intuitive user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement user-facing features for web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive and visually appealing user interfaces
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
Implement best practices for usability and accessibility
Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in front-end development
Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience in modern frameworks/ libraries such as React, Angular or Vue.js
Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch) would be a plus
