Job DetailsWhat You'll Do
- Own PE workflows: submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, document control, drawing logs, and closeout packages
- Support buyout and procurement (scopes, quotes, PO/subcontract draft routing)
- Track schedule progress, quantities, and cost events (PCOs/COs) with accurate logs and timely updates
- Coordinate with field teams, design partners, and subs to resolve issues quickly and keep work flowing
- Assist with safety/quality documentation, inspections, punch, and turnover
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with owners and internal stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- 2-6+ years in a Project Engineer / APM capacity with a or design-build firm (or strong internship/co-op track)
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Procore (or similar PM platform); working knowledge of Microsoft Project or P6
- Solid grasp of construction documents, specifications, and trade coordination
- Experience in industrial/commercial or municipal/K-12 a plus; PEMB (pre-engineered metal buildings) exposure is helpful
- Bachelor's in CM, Civil, or related field or equivalent field-driven experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to visit jobsites in SE Michigan
