We are hiring a Construction Manager - Small Cell / DAS for a contract opportunity based in Seattle, WA (fully remote with local field travel 2-3 days per week) supporting a large telecommunications infrastructure deployment program focused on small cell, DAS, and fiber construction in the public right-of-way (ROW). This role will oversee node construction, vendor coordination, and outside plant work, with occasional out-of-state travel required and mileage / field expenses reimbursed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Seattle ROW / SDOT / SCL experience who wants to work on high-impact wireless deployments in one of the most regulated construction environments in the country. You will act as the construction subject matter expert, working directly with vendors, inspectors, project managers, and city contacts to keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role offers a strong mix of field work and decision-making responsibility, giving you the chance to stay hands-on while also influencing vendor selection, construction strategy, and project execution.
Contract Duration: 9 - 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience
3-5+ years of telecommunications / wireless construction experience
Experience with small cell, DAS, or OSP construction in the public right-of-way (ROW)
Experience working in Seattle ROW with SDOT, SCL, or local city inspectors
Vendor management and subcontractor coordination experience
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings / node construction prints
Experience with fiber, node, hub, and utility make-ready construction
Proficiency with MS Office / Excel and project tracking tools
Knowledge of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field sites
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience supporting small cell, oDAS, iDAS, or tower / collocation projects
Experience with ROW permitting, site acquisition, or regulatory processes
Background managing construction budgets and vendor pricing
Familiarity with RF Sweep, OTDR, PIM, or fiber testing methods
Experience working with municipalities and utility companies
Previous experience supporting large wireless deployment programs
