Must Have:

• 10+ years of NetSuite development experience
• Strong expertise in SuiteScript 2.x (Client, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce)

• Deep understanding of NetSuite financial modules including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
• Experience supporting financial reporting, saved searches, and SuiteAnalytics

NetSuite Developer (Finance Focus)

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Developer with strong expertise in financial modules and processes to design and deliver scalable solutions within a NetSuite environment.

This role requires a hands-on developer who can partner closely with finance stakeholders, translate accounting and reporting requirements into well-structured system solutions, and deliver clean, maintainable customizations using NetSuite best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions supporting NetSuite financial processes
• Translate business requirements across accounting and finance into scalable configurations and customizations
• Customize NetSuite using SuiteScript (2.x), SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder
• Develop and maintain financial reports using SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, and dashboards
• Support integrations using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) and external middleware where applicable
• Ensure solutions maintain financial data integrity, auditability, and compliance
• Support period close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting improvements
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders
• Follow best practices for NetSuite customization and avoid over-customization where possible

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of NetSuite development experience
• Strong expertise in SuiteScript 2.x (Client, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce)
• Experience with SuiteFlow (workflows) and SuiteBuilder (custom fields, records, forms)
• Deep understanding of NetSuite financial modules including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
• Experience supporting financial reporting, saved searches, and SuiteAnalytics
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience with integrations using SuiteTalk or REST APIs
• Ability to work independently and deliver solutions end-to-end

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with OneWorld (multi-subsidiary / multi-currency environments)
• Familiarity with tax, compliance, and audit requirements
• Experience with financial planning or reporting tools integrated with NetSuite
• Exposure to middleware platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft)
