RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manager Data Science & AI in San Antonio, TX.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager, Data Science & AI to lead a team responsible for developing and delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions. This role oversees end-to-end execution of machine learning and AI initiatives, including model development, operationalization, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and strong people-management skills.

This leader will guide a team of data science professionals, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational priorities. The role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and deliver AI capabilities that enhance performance, decision-making, and scalability. The IT Manager will stay informed on emerging technologies, shape best practices, and manage the lifecycle of AI/ML solutions from concept through production.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
* 10+ years of broad IT experience
* 3+ years of leading professional technical teams
* Strong leadership in managing data science or AI/ML-focused teams
* Experience delivering machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
