Summary

Location & Work Arrangement

City, State: Concord, NH
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week Onsite required; 1 day remote).
Interview Mode: In-Person Only (Candidates must be available to interview at the client location).
Shift: 37.5-hour work week, Monday Friday, EST.

Key Responsibilities

Legacy Modernization & Migration

Rewrite existing MS Access ADP applications that link to SQL Server backends into the ACCDB format.
Lead database migrations from legacy environments to modern on-premise or cloud servers.
Upgrade SQL Server environments (specifically moving from 2008 to 2016 or higher).
Update and manage SSIS jobs to ensure seamless data integration and transformation.

Application Development & Support

Develop and maintain complex VBA scripts and provide end-user support for critical applications.
Utilize ASP.net for application development and maintenance as needed.
Participate in Agile delivery cycles, including sprint planning and task tracking.
Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure stable and reliable deployments.

Technical Strategy & Documentation

Contribute to determining the future technical path for the agency's application portfolio.
Maintain rigorous best practices for code management and technical documentation.
Elicit business and functional requirements from stakeholders of varying technical levels.

Cloud & Visualization: Knowledge of cloud migrations, Power BI, and PowerApps.
